Rugby
Last year, many of you told us that USA Rugby needed to improve the
CIPP process. We heard you and began work on an online system. We told the technology team that the process needed to be user-friendly and that it also needed to give local unions, referees and coach’s tools to manage their rosters.

After months of hard work by the national office team, we're now in the final weeks of testing Phase 1 of the new system. So far, I'm thrilled with the results and am looking forward to sharing it with you January 1.
In Phase 1, USA Rugby's Online Member Care system will:
- allow members to register online
- allow clubs to register and manage their membership online
- allow coaches to register online
- offer three secure payment options: credit card, eCheck or "mail an invoice" (Teams only)
- allow teams and unions to track dues and fees
- add bulk members
- improve and automate background checks for youth, high school and college coaches
- allow teams to run roster reports
After launch, we'll use member feedback to improve the system by adding new features in subsequent phases and by working out the bugs that are inevitable with any new technology. You can help us do both by writing me with your ideas for additional features and by flagging any glitches you identify in the software.
I’ll touch base with you before the system launches to give you an update. In the mean time, feel free to email me with any questions and get ready to CIPP in January.
